National Institute of Public Health Training and Research (NIPHTR) was established in June 1957 under Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. It is one of the pioneering Central Training Institutes (C.T.I.) conducting in-service training for medical and paramedical personnel in important health issues to enhance their knowledge and skills for better delivery of health care services to attain Universal health Coverage and achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’S).
Skill based training courses are the training content developed for enhancing the specific skills of existing professionals or provide a platform for imparting skills to candidates with no formal qualification. As per the directives of Ministry of Health & F W, NIPHTR Mumbai has developed four days skill- based course for First Responder.
OBJECTIVES:
Eligibility criteria:
Minimum 8th Std. & above Student, Police, Industry employees, Security personnel, School teachers, Drivers etc. and mandatory for all Public Health professionals including ASHA workers/ Anganwadi / MPWs or relevant profession.
Age: 18 years and above (Relaxation of age for SC/ST candidates as per Govt. of India rules)
