MUHS- Summer Internship Programme

National Institute of Public Health Training and Research (NIPHTR) is identified as one of the centres for the summer internship Program (SIP) conducted by MUHS Nasik. The institute conducts two weeks programme for the following three learning goals as approved by MUHS. The participants are the first to third year students of health sciences selected by MUHS.

The aim of the SIP programme is to give the students a peep into these health fields so they so that they can develop an insight to understand their interests better and decide their future career progression pathways.

The SIP extends beyond classroom teaching to provide hands on experience. The students as part of their learning goals are given field projects and community-based assignments to have learnings beyond classrooms. During the end of their two weeks, they submit projects reports or do a field outreach programme to successfully meet their learning goals.
